Shannon M. Rupert

Location: San Diego, CA
Shannon Rupert Robles is a plant ecologist from San Diego, California. She has an M.S. in Biological Sciences from California State University San Marcos, a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution from the University of California San Diego and an A.S. in Biology from Miramar College, where she currently teaches non-majors biology. Her research interests include the evolution of plant breeding systems, ecological processes at Mars analog sites and exploring how Earth/Mars scientists communicate and collaborate. In addition, she is the MDRS Remote Science Team Coordinator and the NASA Mobile Agents Remote Science Team Lead.
