On February 11-13, 2007, the Mars Society is going to join with the National Space Society in the 2007 Space Budget Blitz in Washington, D.C.

During this event, we will be sending people from around the country up to Capitol Hill to talk to new members of Congress in support for the Vision for Space Exploration. It is extremely important that we make a strong first impression on new members and continue our communication with all the veterans of Congress.

The next couple of years are vital to the future of VSE. Not only do we need to make sure that it survives, but we also need to make sure than Mars remains a key part of that plan.
